Welcome to

Neurocognition of arithmetic (re-)learning
The NeuroTrain project arises from a newly established international collaboration and a mutual interest in arithmetic learning. In the NeuroTrain project, we assess different learning approaches in healthy individuals of different ages and in brain-damaged patients. To this end, we use different research methods that are well established in the neuroscience field (behavioural assessments, eye-tracking, magnetic resonance imaging -functional and structural-). The NeuroTrain project builds on the excellent scientific and methodological expertise of three research groups coming from the field of Neuropsychology (Priv.-Doz. Dr. Laura Zamarian, PhD, Medical University of Innsbruck),NeuroImaging (Prof. Manuela Piazza, University of Trento), and Educational Psychology (Prof. Demis Basso, Free University of Bolzano).
